A versatile Windows compatible control and datalogging software to enhance Neoptix temperature measurement systems

The Neoptix OmniLink software allows using your fiber optic temperature monitoring system in a highly flexible manner. Assistant features direct data logging of the temperature information acquired by the signal conditioners and also the full remote control over the instrument using a PC.

The Neoptix OmniLink built-in function allows real time visualization of the temperature on bar graphs or strip chart directly on the PC. It is possible to adjust the refreshing rate and the scale of the information displayed. Moreover, channel can be individually enabled and customized by the user. For example, each probe can have its own name, description and color.

Neoptix OmniLink features direct data logging onto a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet, saving the user of the task of converting the file into Excel native file format. Data can also be saved to a variety of standard formats.

Each OmniFlex System connects to your PC via a dedicated RS-232 serial communication port. An Ethernet serial port emulation is also available as an option.

The OmniLink software also provides a graphical user interface for the setup and configuration for the supported signal conditioners. Among many other features, Assistant allows the configuration of the span and zero baseline of analog outputs on each channel of the signal conditioners. Neoptix OmniLink supports the probe offset and punctual calibration.

It is also possible with the software to set alarms based on a minimum and maximum temperature; a feature essential for temperature monitoring of critical experiments.

OmniLink is compatible with Neoptix’s OmniFlex fiber optic signal system. It runs on Microsoft Windows operating systems.
